How we work

Our delivery posture is cloud-native end-to-end. Infrastructure as code, versioned with the application it serves. Managed services where they pay their way. Self-mutating deploy pipelines — the pipeline that builds a product is defined inside that product's own repo.

The same patterns power our public products and our client deliveries. We run our own infrastructure on the same stacks we ship for clients. That keeps the advice we give honest — and keeps the patterns we recommend battle-tested before they reach production for someone else.

What we say no to

We don't take engagements where infrastructure cannot be expressed as code, or where the work cannot reach production within the engagement window. We also don't subcontract senior hours through staffing intermediaries — when you hire Ironwire, the Cloud Architect is on the engagement.

Partnership with Watkyn

Watkyn is a boutique software development firm we collaborate with bidirectionally. On many engagements — including the Colorado Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel and the Central California Rural Regional Energy Network — Watkyn carries the client MSA while Ironwire leads the cloud, infrastructure, and AI work. Each firm retains its own brand, books, and IP defaults.
