This isn't a metaphor we picked up for the website. It's the literal subject matter of the work that came before.
Securitization — structuring financial instruments so that risk lands where it can actually be borne — exists precisely because the parties underneath aren't trustworthy enough to hold the weight themselves. Building that infrastructure at the bank level, against central-bank collateral requirements, is an education in exactly one skill: reading which part of a structure is real and which part is performing. Carrying that instinct into fintech meant building API systems that operated across regions globally and held up through the scrutiny of a $480M acquisition. Building a platform from absolute zero as a founding engineer meant owning a system before it had a single abstraction layer to hide behind.
